1. Product Description
Phytosterol esters powder is produced by phytosterol esters as raw material through our microencapsulation core patented technology development. Phytosterol ester powder is a water dispersible formulation made by a mixture of soy phytosterol esters, sodium octenyl succinate starch, xanthan gum and sucrose esters through spray drying process.
Phytosterol ester is made from phytosterol and palmitic acid by esterification, deacidification, distillation proper addition of vitamin E and ascorbic palmitate with a process of bottling, cooling and packaging. Since 1997, FDA of United States, the agriculture and forestry ministry of Japan, the European commission, and the food standards agency of the United Kingdom have approved the use of “ Good For Health” label for foods with phytosterol ester. In 2010 China’s food and drug administration allows phytosterol ester as a new resource food that can be added in foods.
Phytosterol esters powder is widely used in plant butter, margarine, vegetable, oil, dairy products, vegetable protein drinks, condiments, salad dressing, mayonnaise, fruit juice, pasta. Noodles, and vegetarian cereals and other foods.

5. Storage
The product may be stored for 18 months at room temperature in the unopened original container. It shall be stored at room temperature, under dry conditions, protected from heat, light, moisture and oxygen, and in tightly closed containers.
