General Description
Hydroxytyrosol is a powerful polyphenol that occurs naturally in the olive fruit, pulp, leaves, and mill waste waters. Hydroxytyrosol is an amphiphilic phenol (hydrophilic and lipophilic), a polyphenolic compound with strong antioxidant properties and high bioavailability. Due to its antioxidant activity, it is considered to be one of the best natural antioxidants for free radical scavenging, and its ability to scavenge free radicals is 2 times that of quercetin and 3 times that of epicatechin. It is added as an additive to health care products and foods and found to have a good anti-aging effect.

Product Functions
The ORAC antioxidant adsorption free radical energy value of hydroxytyrosol is more than 10 times higher than that of vitamin C, and more than 4-6 times higher than that of anthocyanin. In addition, hydroxytyrosol has two major advantages.
1. Remove internal and external free radicals and resist photoaging.
Hydroxytyrosol absorbs and breaks down UV rays, thereby protecting the skin from external UV rays. At the same time, hydroxytyrosol has a strong ability to capture free radicals such as reactive oxygen species, and can effectively remove oxygen free radicals in the body.
2. Repair oxidative damage, anti-aging
It has a powerful function of repairing oxidative damage to the skin. Because free radicals acquire electrons from cells or gene protein molecules, destroying various physiological functions of cells, skin is prone to gene mutation, carcinogenesis, aging and other problems.

Storage
