Medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) are triglycerides with two or three fatty acids.
MCT is most commonly found in coconut and coconut products like coconut oil, coconut butter and full fat coconut milk. Other sources include palm kernel oil and in smaller amounts, animal based dairy products. Though the number of MCT foods is limited, if you drink milk, chances are you're still getting some in your diet naturally. The amount and specific type of MCT in each food is slightly different.

Usually, people use MCT for help with:
· Problems taking in fat or nutrients
· Weight loss
· Appetite control
· Extra energy for exercise
· Inflammation
If you find that you don't like the MCT foods listed above, thankfully you do not have to rely on foods with medium-chain triglycerides to include them. You can still get them in your diet through the use of medium-chain triglycerides supplements that are widely available on the market today.
