The core process of CWS powder is to convert fat-soluble β-carotene into a water-soluble form through emulsification, homogenization and spray drying.

1. Microencapsulation technology:

Based on VegeLipi^® microencapsulation technology, HSF launched water-soluble pure encapsulations beta carotene and nanoemulsion to solve the problem of difficult dispersion and easy degradation of traditional oil-soluble products. According to customer needs, customized dosage forms (tablets, soft capsules, and beverage additives) are provided.

Nanoemulsion technology: particle size <200nm: water solubility is increased by 10 times, and can be directly added to transparent beverages (such as juice, functional water) without precipitation and wall adhesion.

2. Fermentation technology:

NutraColour^® Beta Carotene powder is fermented from Blakeslea trispora, which belongs to the phylum Zygomycetes and requires co-cultivation of two mating type strains, "+" (male) and "-" (female).

Adaptive evolution technology (ALE): Through long-term stress culture (such as high osmotic pressure and low temperature), the strain's resistance is enhanced, and there is no yield decline in continuous fermentation for 20 generations, with a stability of 99%.

Light-proof and oxygen-controlled design: double-layer stainless steel fermentation tanks are used, with UV protection coating on the outside and nitrogen covering system integrated inside, and the dissolved oxygen content is controlled at DO≤3% (industry average 8%) throughout the process.
Extraction technology: selectively extract β-carotene under low temperature and low pressure conditions to avoid high temperature damage to the isomer structure.
Primary separation: solvent recovery through reduced pressure evaporation, with a recycling rate of 98%; zero chemical addition: no strong acid, strong alkali or heavy metal catalyst is used throughout the process, in line with EU EC 1333/2008 food additive safety standards.

Storage and package

Storage: The product can be stored for 24 months in cool and dry place in the unopened original container. It shall be stored in tightly closed containers in cool and dry place and protected from heat, light, moisture and oxygen. 

Package: Packed in 1kg or 5kg sealed aluminum foil bags, 20kg or 25kg per drum.
