What is Inulin?
Inulin powder is a white amorphous, hygroscopic powder with a linear structure. It is a natural soluble dietary fiber that is widely distributed in nature. The main source of inulin powder is plants, including 11 dicotyledonous plants such as Compositae, Platycodonaceae, Gentianaceae, and monocotyledonous plants such as Liliaceae and Poaceae. Inulin is found in more than 36,000 plant species worldwide, and in small amounts in certain fungi and bacteria.
