Phytosteryl Isostearate is a white to pale yellow oily paste with typical fatty odor and taste at ambient temperature, and it will turn to be clear oil above 30ºC/86°F. It is obtained by esterification of free plant sterols with isostearic acid. It can be used in cosmetics serving as the skin care nutrient, humectant and emulsifier.

Applications
Phytosterol Isostearate has excellent stability, skin affinity and moisturizing properties. It can be used as a skin care nutrient and a moisturizing agent in daily chemical products. It can also be used as an emulsifier due to its good dispersibility of inorganic pigments.
