What is L-tryptophan Granular?
L-tryptophan Granular is a white to off-white granule produced by HSF microencapsulation process. L-tryptophan is one of the 8 essential amino acids required by humans and animals. It cannot be synthesized by itself, so humans and animals can only ingest it through food. L-tryptophan, also known as the second essential amino acid, is widely used in medical, food, feed additives and agricultural environmental testing industries. In recent years, with the rapid development of the feed industry, the research on L-tryptophan and its metabolites has become more and more in-depth. L-tryptophan has gradually become a product with greater demand in the international market.
Unlike other amino acids, tryptophan is mainly bound to albumin and circulates in the blood and plasma, and the free form of tryptophan in plasma is only 10% to 20%.

Production Method
The earliest production methods of L-tryptophan rely on chemical synthesis and proteolysis. With the deepening of the research on microbial production of tryptophan, microbial fermentation has been used in production and is in a dominant position. Microbial methods can be divided into direct fermentation, microbial transformation and enzymatic methods.

The product shall be stored at ambient or cold temperature, dry conditions, protected from heat, light and oxygen, and packaged in a 20kg paper carton, packed with double layer polyethylene bag as liner.
