Modified soybean lecithin powder is in the form of light yellow to yellow powder or granules with a special "bleached" smell. It is partially soluble in water, but can easily form an emulsion in water and is easier to disperse and hydrate than ordinary phospholipids. It absorbs moisture easily, is easily soluble in animal and vegetable oils, and is partially soluble in ethanol.

Modified soybean lecithin is made from concentrated soybean lecithin through chemical modification. It has good hydrophilicity and oil-in-water emulsification function. Its acetone-insoluble content is the same as that of natural crude phospholipids. However, its emulsifying and hydrophilic properties are significantly improved compared to concentrated soy lecithin, and it has greater advantages in feed addition performance, liquid feed preparation and energy digestion and absorption.

 

Preparation method: Using natural phospholipids as raw materials, they are hydroxylated with hydrogen oxide, benzoyl peroxide, lactic acid and sodium hydroxide or hydrogen peroxide, acetic acid and sodium hydroxide, and then undergo physical and chemical treatment and acetone degreasing to obtain an oil-free powder. Application

(1) Food: used in dairy products and instant foods in the food industry to improve their instant properties. Used in the production of ice cream to improve emulsification and prevent the formation of ice cream.
